Soutěž Bohuslava Martinů


27. ročník soutěže se uskuteční ve dnech 25.-27. listopadu 2022 v Sále Martinů Lichtenštejnského paláce, sídle Hudební a taneční fakulty AMU v Praze (Malostranské nám. 13,118 00 Praha 1) v kategoriích:

1) housle
2) komorní soubory od tria po sexteto s klavírem

Soutěž je určena pro kandidáty do 28 let z České a Slovenské republiky, nebo pro zahraniční studenty studující v České republice.

Součástí každoročního Festivalu Bohuslava Martinů je od roku 1996 interpretační soutěž. Mladí interpreti mají pravidelně možnost měřit své umělecké schopnosti v osmi kategoriích:

1) Housle / komorní soubor trio až sexteto s klavírem
2) Klavír / komorní soubor trio až sexteto bez klavíru
3) Dechové nástroje (flétna, klarinet, trubka) / cembalo
4) Zpěv / violoncello

The philosophy of the competition is to reconnect with the tradition that has made
the Long-Thibaud one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.
Hence the choice of four set pieces, according to Marguerite Long’s principles.

There will be a pre-selection via video clips of these pieces by July 8, 2022:

  1. Chopin Sonata in B-flat minor n°2 (1st and 4th movements without repeats )
  2. Debussy Toccata or Ravel Toccata
  3. Poulenc Presto in B-flat major
  4. CouperinThe Tic-Toc-Choc or RameauThe reminder of the bird

The idea and desire of the organizers is to create a competition for talented promising young artists around the world who will have the opportunity to

“Youth of Music International Competition” 2022

Dear Music Students & Professors,

The “Youth of Music International Competition” 2022 is waiting for you! The online competition is dedicated to young classical musicians, instrumentalists and opera singers, born after January 1st, 1992. Candidates will compete equally in the same categories, regardless of instrument, divided by the age criteria only.

The contest takes place exclusively online, with free choice of repertoire. Application deadline is April 15th, 2022.

Competition’s jury is chaired by the Romanian violinist Alexandru Tomescu. Members of the Jury are Prof. Igor Cognolato, conductor Prof. Gian Luigi Zampieri, Prof. Vasily Lobanov, soprano Laura Tatulescu and pianist Sinziana Mircea.
Awards include recitals at the “Music Soirées in Bucharest” Festival, Banatul Philharmonic and West University Timisoara, Arcus Cultural Center, recording sessions at the Electrecord Studios in Bucharest, cash prizes, trophies and master classes.
